What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel applies a professional exfoliating solution for a controlled period. It loosens surface skin cells and supports skin renewal. The selected formulation and contact time are matched to your skin and treatment goal.

The conversation may include dullness, uneven-looking tone or texture, congestion, visible pores or fine lines. A peel cannot guarantee a particular result and may not be the best option for every concern.

Consultation matters

Some skincare ingredients, medicines, recent procedures, active irritation, infections and sun exposure can affect suitability or timing. Tell Katie about everything you use on your skin and any changes to your health before treatment.

You may be asked to pause selected products or postpone treatment. Follow only the individual preparation advice Katie gives you.

Recovery

What happens afterwards?

Skin may feel warm, tight, dry or sensitive and can appear red. Light flaking may occur, although not every effective peel causes visible peeling. Do not pick or pull at shedding skin.
